What is Happi?

How will Happi make me feel?

Most Happi customers describe their Happi feeling as a “light buzz” that slowly builds then tapers off. This is something we like to call the Happi Effect—a subtle sipping experience that keeps pace with you, not the other way around. In other words, your Happi experience is entirely up to you, putting you in control of just how Happi you’d like to feel.

Because of the way our beverages are formulated, the THC is distributed evenly throughout the can. This guarantees a consistent experience, so your first sip is the same as your last. We recommend starting with a low mg dose (the amount of THC in the drink) and pacing yourself until you know how your body reacts. Sip, wait about 15 minutes, and see if you’ve reached your Happi place.

How long does it take to feel the effect? And how long does it last?

On average, Happi takes effect in about 15 minutes, much faster than an edible. It is designed to mimic the onset of a glass of wine or a beer so you feel the effects right away. Your Happi feeling will subside within about 2 hours on average.

Is hemp-derived THC legal in a beverage?

Thanks to the Farm Bill of 2018, which authorized the production of hemp and removed it from the DEA’s schedule of Controlled Substances, Happi humans across the country are able to find their Happi–aka ME!

Where does the THC in Happi come from?

Depending on where you find me, I’m made with delta-9 THC derived naturally from hemp or cannabis based on state-by-state regulations. In certain states, the THC must be hemp-derived, making it federally legal with less than 0.3% THC by dry weight. Because the THC in Happi is derived naturally, there are zero chemicals or synthetics in our product. Just 100% all natural goodness that’s fully legal based on the DEA and FDA guidelines.

No matter where you find me, we’ll always tell you what’s in your Happi, so just check the package or can for more details about how the THC was derived. My doses and effects are always consistent, too!

How does hemp differ from cannabis?

Well, not much, actually. Technically, they are the same plant! However, thanks to the Farm Bill mentioned earlier, hemp specifically refers to a cannabis plant containing less than–yep, you guessed it–0.3% THC by dry weight.

Hemp and cannabis are also a rich source of cannabinoids like CBD, CBN, and CBG–in fact, these plants can contain over 100 cannabinoids! Why can’t I order Happi in my state?

Due to the regulatory environment, we are unable to sell Happi in every state. We follow local laws, some of which prohibit the sale of cannabis or hemp-derived products. Our website is the best place to stay up-to-date about our availability. We are continuing to expand, so check back soon.

Safety First!

If you are new to THC, we recommend starting low and going slow. We offer a range of doses, so consider starting at the low end and working your way up once you know your tolerance. Don’t drink the whole can at once if it’s your first time. Start with a quarter or half and wait 15 minutes. Assess how you’re feeling, then drink more if you want a stronger buzz.
