Our story began with personal quests – Lisa’s as a mother and global career woman seeking a natural way to unwind, and Joe, a passionate entrepreneur recognizing a need for a social, yet health-conscious way to relax. We both saw a need for an all-natural product that respected the desires of modern consumers: to enjoy the benefits of hemp without the smoke and with a focus on innovation and quality.
In late 2020, our paths converged, and Happi was born. Our vision for Happi has remained steadfast as we have grown: to inspire occasions of happiness. Most Happi customers describe their Happi feeling as a “light buzz” that slowly builds then tapers off. This is something we like to call the Happi Effect—a subtle sipping experience that keeps pace with you, not the other way around. In other words, your Happi experience is entirely up to you, putting you in control of just how Happi you’d like to feel.
Because of the way our beverages are formulated, the infusion is distributed evenly throughout the can. This guarantees a consistent experience, so your first sip is the same as your last. We recommend starting with a low mg dose and pacing yourself until you know how your body reacts. Sip, wait about 15 minutes, and see if you’ve reached your Happi place.
On average, Happi takes effect in about 15 minutes. It is designed to mimic the onset of a glass of wine or a beer so you feel the effects right away. Your Happi feeling will subside within about 2 hours on average.
If you are new to hemp, we recommend starting low and going slow. We offer a range of doses, so consider starting at the low end and working your way up once you know your tolerance. Don’t drink the whole can at once if it’s your first time. Start with a quarter or half and wait 15 minutes. Assess how you’re feeling, then drink more if you want a stronger buzz. Everyone reacts differently, and we want your experience to be a Happi one.
Thanks to the Farm Bill of 2018, which authorized the production of hemp and removed it from the DEA’s schedule of Controlled Substances, Happi humans across the country are able to find their Happi!
